Good to know
Expect some redness, swelling and a sunburn-like feeling for a day or two afterwards. Keep the skin cool with aloe vera gel or an ice pack. Please let us know about any light-sensitive medication, such as some antihistamines, antibiotics, antidepressants or contraceptives.

Do I need a test patch for IPL?
Yes. A consultation and test patch is needed at least 24 hours before your first treatment. It costs $40, which is credited to your first treatment if you go ahead.
How should I prepare for IPL?
- Shave the treatment area 24 to 48 hours beforehand.
- Let us know about any light-sensitive medication.
- Avoid sunburn, and don't wax the area beforehand.
- Arrive on time; late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
